Facilities and Technologies


ACIES BIO fermentation facility is equipped with numerous shakers for small-scale fermentation and selection and seed preparation, and a series of state-of-the-art bioreactors (mainly Sartorius) including 5L, 30L and 150L pilot-scale bioreactors. These allow us testing of the developed strains at bioreactor level as well as development and optimization of bioprocesses up to 150L pilot scale. Our senior scientists are also highly experienced with scaling-up fermentation technologies to large scale industrial production facilities, which we provide to our clients at their chosen manufacturing site.
Our fermentation facility is also directly linked with our DSP facility, allowing quick transfer of fermentation broth for downstream processing and compound isolation and analysis.
