Cytokinines
Acies Bio has developed a biotechnological platform for cost-effective production of cytokinines. The first compound developed at commercial scale is trans-zeatin, the most abundant natural cytokinin with potential for biostimulation and yield increase in different crops. The innovation enabled a reduction of costs up to 100-fold, opening a healthier and more sustainable alternative for currently used synthetic cytokinines. Trans-zeatin promotes plant growth, cell division, and stress resistanceit can significantly enhance fruit development, leading to larger fruits with improved quality, coloration, and shape, opening possibilities for extending crop shelf life. We are open for partnerships with Ag companies worldwide and can provide samples of trans-zeatin for greenhouse- and field trials.
